No one can resist crispy chicken like this!

When it comes to favourite rice dishes in Singapore, Hainanese Chicken Rice and Nasi Lemak probably rank as our favourites. And when it comes to Nasi Lemak, one of the main ingredients that makes it extra delicious to eat is Fried Turmeric Chicken. There is something magical about the combination of turmeric, coriander and chilli powders coming together. And I think I actually prefer this to KFC! 😆

You might think that it's quite difficult to achieve that fragrant, distinct coconutty taste but it's actually really easy and done in under an hour! I paired this with butterfly pea rice, a fried omelette and anchovies and it was really yummy. Read on if you want to know how the fried chicken is made!

For this recipe, I also used fresh chicken wings, just because they taste much better than the frozen ones. But if you already have those sitting around in your freezer, that's ok too!
